October 19, 2009 – CTC Consulting, an investment consulting firm based in Portland, Oregon, has added two members to its executive team. Mike Finan, one of the firm’s senior consultants, and Curt Fintel, CTC’s chief investment strategist, are the new additions.

Mechigian, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CTC, in a communication to CTC’s clients. “Both of them have played an integral part in our success over the past several years, and we look forward to their contributions to the executive team going forward.” CTC’s executive team now has six members, including Kristi Hanson, President and Director of Research, Karen Harding, Director of Consulting, Robin Willoughby, Senior Consultant, Hedge Fund Portfolios, as well as Mssrs. Mechigian, Finan and Fintel.
Mr. Finan has worked as a consultant with CTC for twelve years, and he focuses on the complex investment needs of families and family offices. Prior to joining CTC, he was a trust officer at U.S. Trust for institutional retirement plans, and he also previously worked with a benefits and compensation consulting firm. Mr. Finan is a CFA charter holder, and he received a BA in finance and international business from Gonzaga University and an MBA in finance from Eastern Washington University.
Mr. Fintel has worked with CTC for thirteen years in traditional and alternative investment research, and he became CTC’s chief investment strategist in 2006. In this role, he directs the research and publication of tactical investment advice and the integration of investment managers within client portfolios. Mr. Fintel is a CFA charter holder and received a BS and an MS in economics from Iowa State University. He has published several white papers focused on various economic and investment related topics.
