Mr. Cotton joined CTC in 2004 and is a senior research analyst on the private markets team.  His primary responsibilities include the sourcing, due diligence and monitoring of new and existing private market investments.  Prior to his role with the private markets group,  Mr. Cotton was an analyst in CTC's performance reporting group where he was responsible for performance analysis and client reporting.  Prior to joining CTC, Mr. Cotton served as managing analyst at U.S. Bancorp where he led a team responsible for credit analysis and review of a diversified lending product portfolio for the western United States.

Mr. Cotton lives with his wife and son in Portland and enjoys skiing, playing soccer, traveling and reading in his spare time.

Mr. Cotton recieved his MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management and received his BA from the University of Oregon.  Mr. Cotton is also a member of the Portland Alternative Investment Association and formerly served as an Executive Board Member for the organization.
