Robert Elsasser is director of fixed income research and a partner at CTC. Prior to joining CTC, he was the senior vice president of Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. His responsibilities included serving as the senior officer in charge of U.S. Treasury auctions, Federal Reserve investments in domestic and foreign fixed income markets, foreign exchange activities and capital market analysis. Mr. Elsasser was also the winner of the Frederic S. Mishkin Prize for Outstanding Paper: “Treasury Inflation-Indexed Debt: A Review of the U.S. Experience”.
Mr. Elsasser lives in Portland and has two daughters, Amelia and Lilah, and a son, Hugo.
He received his BA in finance from the University of Washington and his MBA in finance from New York University.
