Curt Fintel is chief investment strategist and a managing partner at CTC Consulting. Mr. Fintel joined CTC in 1996 to conduct research on hedge funds and private equity managers. Mr. Fintel also served as CTC’s director of traditional research, with responsibility for overseeing the firm’s research and recommendations of traditional investment managers. In the capacity of chief investment strategist, Mr. Fintel directs the research and publication of tactical asset allocation advice and the integration of manager placement within asset allocations for clients. He is also a member of CTC’s investment committee, providing quantitative and qualitative analyses to assist the committee in making strategic investment policy decisions. As a managing partner, Mr. Fintel is a member of CTC's executive committee. Prior to joining CTC, Mr. Fintel worked as a computer consultant for Iowa State University’s College of Business.

Mr. Fintel lives in the wine country of Oregon with his wife, Kristin, and enjoys sea kayaking and traveling.

Mr. Fintel is a member of the CFA Society of Portland, and has been a CFA charter holder since 1999. He received a BS and an MS in economics from Iowa State University and conducted his graduate thesis on the empirical analysis of alternative option valuations.
