Michael D. Finan is a senior consultant and managing partner at CTC Consulting. Mr. Finan has been with CTC since 1998, and his primary responsibility is to oversee and manage client relationships. Mr. Finan is directly involved in the development and implementation of long-term investment policies, analysis of client portfolios, recommendations of appropriate portfolio allocations and the evaluation and selection of investment managers. As a managing partner, Mr. Finan is a member of CTC's executive committee.

Prior to joining CTC, Mr. Finan was a trust officer at U.S. Trust where his responsibilities included trust administration of institutional retirement plans, product management of investment funds and development of U.S. Trust’s 401(k) Bundled Product. Mr. Finan began his career in the investment industry in 1991 as an analyst for a benefits and compensation consulting firm where he designed and implemented institutional retirement plans and managed the administration and legal compliance of these plans.

In his spare time, Mr. Finan enjoys skiing, biking, windsurfing, running, competing in triathalons and traveling.

A CFA charter holder and a member of the CFA Society of Portland, Mr. Finan received a BA in business administration in finance and international business from Gonzaga University, and an MBA in finance from Eastern Washington University.
